  Amantea Italy

........

I'd like to tell readers this wonderful present story come true in San Pietro in Amantea, a

South Italy’s small village. ....

In the late evening of a day before past Christmas, a French-American girl – Alexandra 22 is
her imaginary name – knocked old main door of an ancient mansion in that village.
There an elderly woman lives with her middle-aged son - whose imaginary name is Albino –
obliged on wheel-chair by a cerebral lesion owing to an ictus occurred to him in Paris in the
  eighties.
  ........
Alexandra was born in Paris from a passionate love of a blonde Los Angeles future top-model
and Albino then living in France.
  ........
Alexandra’s not married parents were already separated, when Albino was taken ill and
compelled to come back in Italy and lead a semi-vegetative life.
When in the middle of the nineties mother and daughter left France to US, Alexandra took with
her only a vague recollection of that tall brown man and some memories of their happy
  afternoon walks along the Seine.
  ........
Alexandra never ceased looking for him, before asking mother – but she herself had no news
since he fall ill – then going in quest by all means, without finding him.

In the end, tired of waiting, she left for Paris, where she has a childhood girl-friend, with
whom she looked for the places with her father she had gone to. After meticulous inquires of
long duration, a female-owner of a Neapolitan-pizza, near Pont de l’Alma, where Albino
worked, gave her his address in South Italy.
  ........
Grand-mother had a dream and waited for Alexandra to arrive sooner or later from
somewhere. When they embraced each other tenderly, they felt to be in a transport of delight
and want to share love of that unfortunate and marvellous man. ....
